Health Services Administration, BS

Health service administrators and managers are typically responsible for planning and management of health services delivery systems in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, insurance companies, and other health-related organizations.

In this program, you will gain knowledge and experience in health systems planning, public health organization and management, public health policy formulation and analysis, finance, project management, quality assurance, public health law, and regulations.

Every health services administration student is required to complete an internship of a minimum of 125 hours in a health agency where they can put their classroom lessons to work. All students engage with agency partners, gain experience in the workplace, and demonstrate acquisition of competencies.
